Martin Bacanegra Nunez, known to his family as "June" passed away peacefully on January 24, 2018 with his Mother and sisters by his side.
Funeral visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Brown Colonial Mortuary in Santa Ana. Services start at 12:00 Noon and are also being held at Brown Colonial Mortuary in Santa Ana.
Tustin native born and raised, Martin attended Helen Estock Elementary, Columbus Tustin Middle School and is a Tustin High Alumni. As a child, Martin was a member of the Boys and Girls Club Cobras Group, enjoyed skateboarding, and played Baseball in Tustin's Little League.
Martin worked and owned his painting company for more than 15 years. After relocating to Wisconsin he then opened his own Tattoo company "Little Dragon". He enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, hiking Black Star Mountain, riding Harley Davidson's, and cooking.
A true gentleman, Martin was giving, generous, gentle, compassionate, forgiving, humble, thankful and loving. Always reverent towards his Mom. Fearless in his adventures and loyal in character towards his family, Martin had the heart of a child and the courage of a man.
A proud and protective family man, Martin is survived by his Mother Luisa Nunez, brother Valentino Nunez, and his three sisters Christina Perez, Adena Trujillo and Kimberly Lagafuaina.
Martin was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
