Martha Azia Garcia Menchaca-Aguirre, 88, passed away April 28, 2017 peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family

Martha was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on July 11, 1928. She met and married Jose Aguirre as a young adult and they had six boys: Hector, Frank, Jesse, Robert, Leo and Oscar. Martha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. “Granny” loved to cook for everyone who came over and garden her beautiful flowers.

Martha was survived by her sons: Hector, Frank, Jesse, Robert, and Oscar; by her 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brothers Eduardo and Octavio; nieces and nephews. She was proceeded by her parents Everardo and Maria Garcia, brothers and sister, her husband Jose, her son Leo and great-granddaughter Cameron.
