Josefina Figueroa Rivera, was born on December 26, 1926, in Guayama, Puerto Rico. She was the second to the youngest of 5 siblings, 1 male, 4 female. She was the last survivor of her family. She is survived by her 3 children, Raymond, Phillip, Millie. She had 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was an Insurance Agent before she retired. She was feisty, funny and fun. She will be missed.

From a Daughter - The love of a mother is like God's love. He loves us not because we are lovable, but because it is His nature to love and because we are His children. How can I thank you God for such a marvelous gift? Your gift continued into my life with her understanding heart, her attentive ears, her open mind, her generous hands, her abundant joy, and her devoted love. I cannot conceive of what life would have been like without her. She has blessed me with the tenderness and compassion that springs from your own gracious heart and she has poured herself out on my behalf so unselfishly, so sacrificially and so willingly. Thank you Father for giving me my mother.
