John "JD" Duggan Obituary

DUGGAN, JOHN

John Duggan went home to heaven on March 8, 2018.  He was born February 6, 1960 in Los Angeles to Patrick Eugene and Patricia (Lynch) Duggan and grew up in Santa Ana.
JD was a talented, self-taught guitarist who loved music.  His proudest achievements were playing numerous local venues and exposing his friends and family to the art of live music.
His greatest moment was when his band, Lunatic Zoo, opened for The Tubes at the Coach House nightclub.  He was a big man with a sweet, gentle soul who will be greatly missed by family and friends, especially the many nieces and nephews he adored.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Mark and James.  He is survived by brothers, Christopher and Patrick Jr. and sisters, Catherine, Therese and Patricia.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Brown Colonial Chapel, 204 West 17th Street, Santa Ana, followed by a celebration of his life at the home of Christopher (Freddy) Duggan.
